LIFE started ‘nowherE’
Linda Bell was born on a sheep station in New Zealand called Erehwon (that’s “nowherE” spelled backwards). Fitting, really. Life didn’t stay in one place for too long – it became a trackless map to everywhere else. Ironically, Linda ended up living 30 years across France after a killjoy teacher removed her from French class in the late-60s.

I’ve been a Nina Hagen fan since I first heard her. Imagine finding an incredible image of her some 40 years after my musical love affair with her started.

In the middle of deciding to open my new tattoo studio, seeing Angry Anderson of Rose Tattoo – in all his colourful poses – but in black and white. Wow – what an image to hang on my studio walls when opened.

I couldn’t resist purchasing off the walls of the show I helped curate; just the best image of Nina Hagen who I have adored for decades. My youth comes alive every time I look at her.
